The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has seized illegal firearms and ammunition in the municipalities of Tbilisi, Marneuli, Lentekhi, and Akhaltsikhe.
The Interior Ministry reports that four individuals were arrested for the illegal purchase and possession of firearms and ammunition today.
Two out of the four suspects, identified only as N.B. and G.L., have prior convictions.
During the search of the suspects, police officers seized numerous firearms and ammunition, including TT and CZ-75 pistols, an AK-74, and 88 cartridges.
