Police seized illegal firearms and ammunition in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi today.
The Georgian Interior Ministry has released a video of detention:
The individual, identified only as A.D., born in 1989, was found in illegal possession of a hunting rifle, a Kalashnikov AKM assault rifle and 30 cartridges.
The individual admitted the crime, which is punishable by three to six years in prison.
Soviet-produced machine guns will gradually be replaced with NATO-standard analogues in Georgian armament.
