Police have detained a Georgian citizen for the purchase and possession of a large quantity of drugs in the Gori Municipality in the Georgian region of Shida Kartli earlier today.
An individual only identified as M.Sh. and born in 1975, was found to be in possession of 200 pills of Suboxone.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
Police also seized illegal firearms and ammunition earlier today.
Another individual, only identified as G.B. and born in 1977, who was convicted in the past, was found in illegal possession of a Makarov pistol, a cartridge, two mufflers and six cartridges.
The crime is punishable by three to seven years in prison.
