A new, 5,000 sq. meter park has opened in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, at Panaskerteli-Tsitsishvili street in Saburtalo district.
Many families live in this area and the implementation of this project was important. People of all ages will be able to spend time in the recreational space", Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the opening of the recreation space yesterday.

“The slope where the recreation space was created was an unorganised area for years,” said Kaladze, with an unfinished garage site standing abandoned.
Tbilisi City Hall announces that the garage was dismantled and instead table tennis, basketball and exercise spaces were created in the area.

The park also includes children's entertainment, modern attractions, an LED lighting system and necessary equipment for the square.
In total 250 trees of different species were planted, an irrigation system was arranged and grass was planted.
