Georgia reports 1,476 new cases of coronavirus of 27,895 tests

Georgia has reported 1,476 new cases of coronavirus, 791 recoveries and 15 deaths in the past 24 hours.
In total 27,895 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend of which 11,090 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,805 were PCR tests.
The new cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 923 cases
- Adjara - 107 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 104 cases
- Imereti - 90 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 82 cases
- Shida Kartli - 48 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 47 cases
- Kakheti - 44 cases
- Guria - 24 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 6 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 1 case
Currently 15,407 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 of which 3,873 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, 749 in the hotels and 10,785 at home. 747 of the 3,873 patients are in critical condition and 150 of the 747 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

As of today 32,406 individuals are in self-isolation.

Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani has thanked his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó for his contribution in ensuring the safe transportation of Chinese vaccines to Georgia. "I’m very grateful to you, dear Péter, for your contribution to ensure the safe transportation of Covid-19 vaccines to Georgia”, FM Zalkaliani wrote in response to Szijjártó in Facebook.
Georgia will receive 100,000 doses of China's Sinovac vaccine today, announces Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia. She said that the use of Sinovac will start after it receives authorisation from the World Health Organisation, however, if this process is delayed, Georgian health officials will discuss how the vaccine might be used in the country.
Georgia has reported 1,433 new cases of coronavirus, 1,160 recoveries and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours. 29,024 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 11,185 of the 29,024 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,839 were PCR tests. The country has had 308,834 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
Georgia has reported 1,551 new cases of coronavirus, 878 recoveries and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total 29,487 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend of which 11,878 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,609 were PCR tests.
Georgia has reported 1,147 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 20,129 tests over the last 24 hours. Out of the new cases 653 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

The country has had 312,954 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. five per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
