NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has welcomed the recent EU-proposed agreement between the political forces in Georgia during a phone conversation with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili.

Good call with President @Zourabichvili_S. I welcomed the agreement between political forces in #Georgia. We discussed security in the #BlackSea region & our shared concerns about #Russia's military build-up. I thanked her for Georgia's commitment to our mission in #Afghanistan.

During the conversation Zurabishvili and Stoltenberg also spoke about the NATO's open door policy and Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
They focused on the importance of the Black Sea security and Georgia's contribution to the NATO-led peace missions in Afghanistan as well.
