Georgia will test locals of Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities in eastern Georgia with 1,000 rapid coronavirus tests, which provide results within an hour and a half.
Eventually the country will have a total of 200,000 rapid coronavirus tests.

The Georgian Service of Radio Liberty reported that Georgia is buying rapid tests from China.
Meanwhile, Georgian Ambassador to China Archil Kalandia wrote on his Facebook page that the country has received additional rapid tests from the Chinese province of Sichuan.
As of now, the number of infected individuals in Georgia stands at 63 out of the 75 confirmed cases; ten individuals have recovered.
Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities are in lockdown after a 62-year-old woman tested positive for COVID-19 and had contact with more than 80 locals.
