Georgia reports 2,927 new cases of coronavirus, 2,480 recoveries, 24 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,927 new cases of coronavirus, 2,480 recoveries and 24 deaths in the past 24 hours.
15,113 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.
The new 2,775 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,033 cases
- Adjara - 411 cases
- Imereti - 782 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 130 cases
- Shida Kartli - 74 cases
- Guria - 53 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 150 cases
- Kakheti - 133 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 79 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 59 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 23 cases
Georgia has had 60,680 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
Since then 45,042 individuals have recovered, while 499 others have died.
4,780 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 645 of the 4,780 patients are in critical condition. 393 of the 645 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
2,879 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 2,982 individuals are in quarantine and 7,454 are at home.
37,675 individuals are in self-isolation.
A curfew will go into effect starting tonight in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori and Poti between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. amid an uptick in coronavirus cases.The restrictions will not affect international cargo transportation, nor emergency, pharmacy, media and delivery services. The government of Georgia says that this is not a typical curfew but ‘a local restriction of movement’, the violation of which will be punishable by 2,000 GEL.
A total of 2,901 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Georgia over the last 24 hours, including 1,060 cases in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Meanwhile, 2,799 people have recovered from the virus, while 34 others have died.
One out of 125 coronavirus-infected individuals die in Georgia, said Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) Paata Imnadze.

Since then 37,019 individuals have recovered, while 423 others have died. 4,618 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 619 of the 4,489 patients are in critical condition. 268 of the 638 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

Georgia has had 63,650 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. Since then 47,390 individuals have recovered, while 521 others have died. 4,709 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 656 of the 4,709 patients are in critical condition. 265 of the 656 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
Chairman of Kutaisi District Election Commission Avtandil Osepaishvili has died of coronavirus, says the CEC in a statement.
Georgia has reported 2,911 new cases of coronavirus, 2,421 recoveries and 45 deaths in the past 24 hours.
A new study by the University of Lausanne for the Council of Europe says that during the first nine months of 2020 there were no Covid-19 cases detected among inmates and staff in Georgian prisons.
