Georgia reports 2,911 new cases of coronavirus, 2,421 recoveries, 45 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,911 new cases of coronavirus, 2,421 recoveries and 45 deaths in the past 24 hours.
16,158 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.
The new 2,911 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,056 cases
- Adjara - 476 cases
- Imereti - 469 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 201 cases
- Shida Kartli - 134 cases
- Guria - 76 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 294 cases
- Kakheti - 69 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 19 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 92 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 25 cases

Georgia has had 66,561 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
Since then 49,811 individuals have recovered, while 566 others have died.
4,878 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 632 of the 4,878 patients are in critical condition. 308 of the 632 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
3,181 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 2,656 individuals are in quarantine and 8,099 are at home.
39,721 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 980,000 individuals have been tested for coronavirus in Georgia so far.
Georgia has reported 2,970 new cases of coronavirus, 2,348 recoveries and 22 deaths in the past 24 hours. 15,713 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. Georgia has had 63,650 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. Since then 47,390 individuals have recovered, while 521 others have died. 4,709 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 656 of the 4,709 patients are in critical condition. 265 of the 656 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
Georgia has reported 2,927 new cases of coronavirus, 2,480 recoveries and 24 deaths in the past 24 hours.
A curfew will go into effect starting tonight in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori and Poti between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. amid an uptick in coronavirus cases.The restrictions will not affect international cargo transportation, nor emergency, pharmacy, media and delivery services. The government of Georgia says that this is not a typical curfew but ‘a local restriction of movement’, the violation of which will be punishable by 2,000 GEL.
Starting November 9, a curfew will go into effect in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori and Poti between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. amid an uptick in coronavirus cases. Vice Prime Minister Maia Tskitishvili announced at a news briefing earlier today that the interagency coordination council has made a decision based on the epidemiological situation in the country and the increased cases of infection.
A new study by the University of Lausanne for the Council of Europe says that during the first nine months of 2020 there were no Covid-19 cases detected among inmates and staff in Georgian prisons.
Several Georgian NGOs have released a statement claiming that the imposition of curfew in seven large cities in Georgia including the capital of Tbilisi starting November 9 is unconstitutional.
Opposition activities are rallying at various district election commissions in Tbilisi and in the regions, where commission members are making summaries of the results after a recount of votes in several constituencies.
Georgia has reported 3,120 new cases of coronavirus, 2,358 recoveries and 33 deaths in the past 24 hours.
