The US Congressmen Adam Kinzinger and Alex Mooney are visiting Georgia between November 5 and 9, and are scheduled to meet with the Georgian PM, parliament speaker, foreign minister and defence minister.
Kinzinger is one of the initiators of the US Support Act to Georgia adopted by the US House of Representative earlier this year.
He is among the 29 congressmen who appealed to the US trade representative to help signing a US-Georgia free trade deal.
Kinzinger is an active supporter of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry reports.
During the visit the congressmen will participate in the defence and security conference in Batumi and will visit the occupation line.
