Rati Ionatamishvili, the Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party faction in the Parliament, on Thursday claimed Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s visit to Brussels this week would “bring results” to citizens of the country.
In his remarks over the visit, Ionatamishvili noted the PM's visit had “placed Georgia in the centre of the attention” of the European Union.
Today we can already say that the visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Brussels was of historic importance, and Georgia was at the centre of attention of the capital of the European Union”, the lawmaker said.
He added the “high-level meetings with decision-makers” during the visit were expressions of support for Georgia, and further pointed out that “I am sure that our citizens will soon feel the results of this visit”.
