At the meeting held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Kobakhidze highlighted the integration into the Alliance as “a foreign policy priority” of the NATO aspirant country - Georgia, adding this priority was affirmed in the country’s Constitution.
The PM thanked Stoltenberg for his personal contributions to Georgia's NATO integration path, as well as for his strong support for the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-recognition policy towards Georgia's Russian-occupied territories, the Government Administration said.
The conversation also touched on the “complex security situation” in the Black Sea region and in the world and the ways to overcome the existing challenges, with the sides emphasising the importance of stability in the region for common Euro-Atlantic security.
