Georgia’s winter resort Gudauri is hosting a new festival Giz-Gizi, organised by the country’s National Tourism Administration, over the weekend.

The three-day festival, which includes winter entertainment villages for vacationers, performances by bands and DJs, and various games and entertainment activities, is free to attend.
While Gudauri is hosting the Snowboard Cross World Cup for the first time this weekend, a skiing and mountain-themed market, food courts and bars, a photo booth and children’s zones are also featured at the Giz-Gizi festival.

The Giz-Gizi festival will be hosted in Georgia’s ski resort of Bakuriani from February 9 to February 11 and Goderdzi ski resort, the mountainous part of the western Adjara, will welcome guests at the event on February 17 and February 18. The highland Mestia, in the northwestern Svaneti region, will also invite visitors to the festival from March 1 till March 3.
