Organised by the Georgian National Tourism Administration, a new festival Giz-Gizi is hosted in the country’s northwestern Svaneti region over the weekend, with performances by bands and DJs and various games and entertainment activities.
The festival, which was previously hosted in the winter resort Gudauri at the first weekend of February, is free to attend and also includes food courts and bars, a photo booth and children’s zones.
The Giz-Gizi festival, which aims to promote Georgia’s winter resorts and attract more domestic and foreign tourists, will be next hosted in the country’s ski resort Bakuriani.
