Georgia’s tourism potential has been promoted at Balttour 2023, one of the largest trade fair exhibitions in Latvia’s capital city of Riga, with the involvement of the country’s national tourism bodies and 11 companies, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Saturday.

An exhibition stand introducing Georgia’s tourism attractions to the visitors and companies of the fair was organised by the Tourism Administration, joined by tourism departments of the western regions of Adjara and Imereti in the promotion efforts.

Future cooperation, including the dynamics of tourism recovery and joint tourist destinations and flights, was discussed in the meetings with representatives of tourism companies, airlines, associations, media and travel platforms of the Baltic and Northern Europe.

Around 300 companies from 33 countries were featured at the exhibition, with up to 23,000 visitors from around the world.
