Three wind and five hydroelectric powerplants are planned to be built in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kakheti, Shida Kartli and Imereti regions of Georgia, the Administration of the Government of Georgia said on Monday.
The total installed capacity of energy projects, presented at today’s Government meeting, is over 250 megawatts of installed capacity, and will total $400 million in investments.
The Government Administration also said agreements with investor companies would ensure technical and financial feasibility studies as well as construction works for the infrastructure.
