Georgian, Hungarian PMs’ spouses visit David Kakabadze workshop

Nunuka Tamazashvili and Anikó Lévai, the spouses of Georgian and Hungarian prime ministers, Irakli Garibashvili and Viktor Orbán, on Wednesday were hosted at Georgian artist David Kakabadze’s enamel and goldsmith workshop.

Kakabadze, the owner and the artistic director of the David Kakabadze & enamel Jewellery, informed Tamazashvili and Lévai about the activities of the company, where they got acquainted with the working process at the site.

 

The company, founded in 1999, employs about 60 people and includes eight different workshops. Both ecclesiastical items and secular jewellery are made in the workshops.

David Kakabadze’s studio cooperates with foreign companies, including the Swiss watch company Patek Philippe.

Hungarian Prime Minister, arrived in Georgia on Tuesday on an official visit alongside his wife and representatives of his Government. Orbán and his wife were hosted by Garibashvili at a dinner, before an official welcoming ceremony was hosted at the Government office early on Wednesday.
