The progress of ongoing important projects in Georgia, supported by the European Investment Bank, was reviewed on Thursday by Infrastructure Minister Irakli Karseladze and the delegation of the Bank, the Infrastructure Ministry said.
The parties also discussed future cooperation and expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation between Georgia and the EIB, the Infrastructure Ministry said.
Before the meeting, the members of the EIB delegation, including Catherine Barberis, the Head of the Bank’s division responsible for managing and monitoring projects in neighbouring countries, got acquainted with the progress of several infrastructure projects, including completed sections of Rikoti Pass.
The representatives of the EIB positively assessed the quality of the completed work, as well as progress of the ongoing projects.
