Lasha Zhvania, the Georgian Ambassador to Israel on Thursday said the relations between Georgia and Israel were developing “dynamically” and noted cooperation “has been constantly growing” in all directions, including trade and economic relations.
Zhvania emphasised the “close cooperation” between the countries “from a regional point of view” and highlighted that the two states would start negotiations on a free trade agreement in 2024, which would increase investments from Israel.
The increase of Israeli visitors to Georgia is expected in the future, the Ambassador said, highlighting Georgia as “a reliable” partner to Israel, adding “the platform for closer cooperation between the two countries has already been built, has a solid foundation and will develop even more in the future”.
