Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Monday discussed bilateral cooperation with Amir Ohana, the visiting Speaker of the Israeli Parliament, with officials hailing the “dynamically developing” partnership in the Tbilisi meeting.
The discussion also involved prospects for further strengthening of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, importance of high-level meetings and cooperation within international organisations, the Georgian foreign office said.
Both officials highlighted the “successful cooperation” between their governments in "all formats" of partnership and pointed to the importance of further strengthening of business contacts, the Foreign Ministry's press office added.
The Israeli official, who arrived in Georgia on the weekend, also met with his Georgian counterpart Shalva Papuashvili earlier during the day.
