The National Wine Agency will spend ₾2 million ($756,000) on promoting Georgian wine at international industry fairs and domestic events throughout 2023, the body said on Tuesday.
The Agency said it would set aside the sum from its overall ₾14 million ($5.2 mln) budget, and said the product would be featured in “all important international exhibitions”.
The effort will be made to help Georgian winemakers bring their products to markets in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, China, South Korea, Japan and the Baltic States.
Vinexpo Paris in the French capital in February will be the first international exhibition of the year where Georgian producers will have an opportunity to showcase their products and find new trade partners.
