Dominique Hasler, Liechtenstein's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports is set to visit Georgia today and will be hosted by Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili. After face-to-face and extended format meetings, the high officials of the two countries will make joint statements for the media.
During her visit from Sunday to Tuesday, Hasler is scheduled to meet Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Salome Zourabichvili, as well as Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, the Foreign Ministry said.
Liechtensteiner official will visit Odzisi, the closest village to the administrative line separating the Russian-occupied regions from the rest of the country, to get acquainted with the ongoing situation in areas adjacent to the line.
In the symbolic part of her trip, Hasler will lay a wreath at the Tbilisi memorial for those fallen for Georgia’s independence.
