Cooperation prospects in focus of meeting between Georgian PM, Liechtenstein FM

The relations between Georgia and Liechtenstein and prospects for cooperation were discussed on Monday in a meeting between the Georgian prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Dominique Hasler, Liechtenstein's Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting noted Hasler's visit to Georgia as an “important milestone” in bilateral relations, which the sides said would give a “new impetus” to future cooperation between the two countries, the Georgian Government Administration said.

The officials highlighted the importance of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats and focused on trade and economic relations.

 

The meeting also highlighted that Georgia was a “reliable transit partner” and was ready to develop the main regional transit routes necessary for strengthening interconnections in the region and beyond.

The conversation also touched on cooperation in education and sports.

Garibashvili thanked Hasler for her Government’s “strong” support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
