Georgian President reiterates “unwavering will” of Georgian people to join European family at meeting with European Commission President

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Tuesday reiterated the “unwavering will of the Georgian people to join the European family” at the meeting with Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission.

In her tweet, after the meeting, Zourabichvili noted she had emphasised the importance of gaining the European Union membership candidate status for the Georgian society and stressed she looked forward to continued cooperation with the Commission, advancing the country on its “historic path” toward EU.
