The ongoing hostilities in Ukraine and support for the country amid the Russian invasion, and the situation in the Black Sea region were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili and Zbigniew Rau, the Chairman-in-Office of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe and Poland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs.
In remarks at the meeting, Rau underlined both the OSCE and Poland supported Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, the Press Office of the President of Georgia said.
I am here to reiterate my support for Georgia's territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence, on behalf of both the Polish state and the OSCE,” the top Polish diplomat said.
The President of Georgia noted the important steps Poland had taken to support Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees showed the country was “one of the leaders in the European Union.”

Zourabichvili also thanked the Polish Foreign Minister for supporting Georgia's EU accession process.
