Russian aggression in Ukraine and the security environment complicated by the ongoing war were discussed by the Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani and his Estonian counterpart Eva-Maria Liimets in a phone call on Wednesday.

In the call, Zalkaliani and Liimets exchanged information on the political and humanitarian assistance provided by the two countries to Ukraine and their involvement in international efforts, reaffirming "unwavering support" of Georgia and Estonia for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.

The top diplomats of both countries also discussed security challenges in Georgia on the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine, the need for greater involvement of international partners, and of further consolidation of support for Georgia.
