Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili is scheduled to address the United Nations climate change conference on Tuesday and raise questions on ways to overcome the challenges caused by the global issue.

The government press office said Garibashvili and other arriving foreign delegations on Monday were hosted by Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, the president of Egypt, and António Guterres, the UN secretary general, at the conference venue.
Along with the prime minister, the Georgian delegation includes foreign minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Revaz Javelidze, the head of the government administration.
Cop27 will take place from Sunday to November 18, with heads of state attending the Sharm el-Sheikh climate implementation summit on Monday and Tuesday, and ministers participating in a “high-level” segment between November 15-18.
