PM highlights Georgian envoys’ contribution to “stability and development” on Diplomat’s Day

Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Thursday congratulated Georgian diplomats on their professional day by saying they “honourably fulfilled” their mission and continued the legacy of their “great ancestors”. 

In his congratulatory message, Garibashvili noted that on the backdrop of the “most difficult challenges”, envoys of the country “properly” carried out the interests of the country around the world and made a “significant contribution” to its stability and development.

It is a matter of pride that today Georgian diplomacy keeps honourably fulfilling the great mission of its ancestors, is properly carrying out the interests of Georgia around the world in the face of the most difficult challenges, and makes a significant contribution to the stability and development of our country”, Garibashvili said.

Garibashvili also stressed the country “especially” needed “highly professional and patriotic” diplomats in the current geopolitical environment, stressing his government’s support for keeping a focus “on results and the country's well-being” in the process.
