PM Garibashvili and Prince of Saudi Arabia discuss cooperation and economic relations

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili discussed prospects of cooperation in economy and tourism with Faisal bin Fahran Al Saud, the Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the ongoing Munich Security Conference in Germany on Friday.

The two sides sat down to review existing economic and tourism cooperation, as well as prospects for further deepening of the partnership.

Positive dynamics in bilateral trade and economic relations were noted at the discussion, the government administration said, with the PM noting the significance of the stable and favourable business environment in Georgia.

At the meeting, Garibashvili pointed out his government welcomed the foreign direct investment from Saudi Arabia and was ready to continue to support interested investors.

The MSC 2022 assembles more than 450 senior decision-makers and leaders from across the world, and is hosted in Munich through Sunday.
