Positive dynamics in the development of bilateral and multilateral relations involving Georgia and Bulgaria were discussed by PM Irakli Gharibashvili and his Bulgarian counterpart Kiril Petkov at the ongoing Munich Security Conference.
The 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, marked this year, was noted at the meeting, with the officials expressing readiness to further intensify cooperation in various fields.

The meeting focused on Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration process, as well as NATO's open door policy and the role of Black Sea security in ensuring common Euro-Atlantic security. The sides also discussed the security environment in the region and the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.
PM Garibashvili also thanked his colleague for supporting Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, the country's European and Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations and the initiative of Associated Trio - the format uniting Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova aiming to enhance cooperation with the EU.
