Georgian tourism companies in Paris for Top Resa 2022 exhibition

About 10 local tourism companies and the Georgian national tourism administration are participating in the major French travel B2B event IFTM Top Resa, hosted in Paris between Tuesday and Thursday as a networking opportunity for travel trade professionals, the GNTA announced on Wednesday.
During the three-day show the visitors of the exhibition have the opportunity to learn about Georgian tourism destinations from the companies and the national body. Acting head of the GNTA, Medea Janiashvili, said France was "one of our leading tourist markets" and the administration was carrying out "a number of marketing activities" to attract more French visitors to Georgia.
Participation in the IFTM Top Resa exhibition is extremely important. We are represented together with the private sector, which allows us to correctly position our tourist product not only in France, but also worldwide, especially in the European region, and receive as many visitors as possible to Georgia", Janiashvili said.

As part of the exhibition, the GNTA is hosting a presentation about Georgia's tourism potential and holding meetings with the international companies.
About 34,000 representatives of the industry are attending the event featuring destinations from 200 countries this year. In total 150 conferences are scheduled as part of the exhibition.
