National Geographic Traveller Food to offer highlights of Georgia's cuisine

Jennifer Hattam, a journalist from National Geographic Traveller Food, is visiting Georgia to explore the country's culinary experiences and wine tourism and publish an article for the magazine's food section, the Georgian national tourism administration said on Thursday.

The visiting journalist was hosted at a wine tasting event and cooking master class joined by Medea Janiashvili, the acting head of the administration. 

This is another opportunity for us to showcase our cuisine, which we are so proud to introduce globally to potential visitors from the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. This [National Geographic] publication has more than a million readers - this is a large audience to better present our tourism potential", Janiashvili said.

As part of the tour, Hattam also visited capital Tbilisi’s Old Town district and the Wine Museum.
