Twenty-eight Georgian food and beverage companies featured at the SIAL international food and beverage exhibition hosted in Paris and closed on Wednesday, the Enterprise Georgia state programme said on Thursday.
The Georgian stand at the exhibition presented local producers with their products that included dried fruit, nuts, almonds, walnuts, jam, honey, live fruits and vegetables.

Spices, berry crops, natural juice, tea, iced tea, lemonade, beer and mineral water were also on display at the stand and offered to visitors of the event.
The event brought together over 6,000 companies, with representatives from over 200 countries attending to learn about global trends in the food and beverage industry. The state agency said Georgian exhibitors built business relationships with potential clients and partners, and shared the country’s export potential and market diversity.

Georgia participated in the exhibition for the fourth time with the support of the state programme.
