Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest growing economies with a population of 36 million [and] significant dependence on imports of agro products”, Vakhtang Jaoshvili, the Georgian ambassador to the country, said.
“Georgian products are already represented in the local trade network. However, I think the participation of Georgian companies in such large-scale exhibitions will promote them and facilitate growth of exports not only to Saudi Arabia but also in the whole Middle East region”, he added.
The Saudi Agriculture International Trade Exhibition is the largest fair in the kingdom, inviting thousands of visitors under the patronage of the country’s ministry of environment, water and agriculture.
