Relations between Georgia and Germany and prospects of cooperation were discussed on Monday in a meeting involving Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Peter Fischer, the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Georgia.

At the introductory meeting, the two officials expressed hope that the work of the Ambassador would contribute to the further strengthening of the “traditionally strong and friendly” relations between the two states, the Government Administration said.
