“This [document] [represents] our common task - social equality, quality healthcare, education, ecologically clean and healthy environment, strengthening of democracy, security and stability”, the PM said in comments.
Garibashvili also added the Government had the vision prepared last year, but was presenting it after refining the document and updating its data. The PM said the document would be made public “in a few days”.
The strategy is fully compliant with the agenda of Georgia’s 2014-signed Association Agreement with the European Union and its principles, Revaz Javelidze, the Head of the Government Administration, said after the Government meeting, adding the document created a “solid foundation” for the country's “sustainable, long-term progress and successful future in the coming years”, and in bringing it closer to joining the European Union.
