The “favourable” investment environment in Georgia, the ongoing and planned investment projects of the Gebrüder Weiss company were discussed on Saturday in a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Austrian transport and logistics company's Chief Executive Officer Wolfram Senger-Weiss.
The sides discussed Georgia’s potential in the direction of logistics and transport, and emphasised the “growing interest” of foreign investors in these fields, the Government Administration said.
The officials also noted that one of the “main decision-making factors” for business has been the “predictability” of the environment and highlighted that Georgia has been a “reliable and stable” business partner.
The large Austrian transport and logistics company, Gebrüder Weiss, has investments in 35 countries around the world.
