Georgian midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has become the first player in the history of Napoli to score three times in two opening games of the season, making a mark following his debut for the Italian club.
The official Twitter account of Italy’s Serie A championship noted the new record on Tuesday, following the winger’s immediate impact since his move to the side.

Kvaratskhelia scored twice to lead Napoli to a 4-0 win over Monza, a side promoted to Serie A, in the second round of the Italian championship at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Sunday.
In the opening fixture of the Serie A season on August 15, the Georgian also scored to contribute to the 5-2 win against Verona.
