Enrico Valvo, the Italian Ambassador to Georgia, on Monday hosted Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a Georgian national football team player who recently joined the Italian football club Napoli, to wish the midfielder success in the Serie A league.
Valvo said there was “already a tangible enthusiasm” from fans of the Italian club about the prospect of Kvaratskhelia, regarded as the top Georgian football talent, joining the team.

The midfielder signed a five-year contract with Napoli earlier this month to seal his €10 million move from Dinamo Batumi.
Transfermarkt, a reference website for player values from across the world, showed the current market value of the Georgian winger at €15 million. Last year Kvaratskhelia became the Most Viewed Player on the website.
Kvaratskhelia played for Dinamo Batumi after leaving the Russian side Rubin in April.
