Georgian citizens, along with residents of 32 other non-European Union countries, will be able to enter Greece with simplified rules starting today, the Georgian Embassy in Greece has announced.

Presenting an EU-recognised Covid-19 digital certificate, or meeting one of the following conditions, will ensure entrance to the country:

  • Vaccination at least 14 days prior to departure, or a certificate of vaccination valid for the nine months after the last dose
  • Certificate of recovery from Covid-19, issued on the 14th day after diagnosis, with validity of 180 days
  • Negative PCR test certificates received within the last 72 hours, or negative rapid test results received within the last 24 hours

All travellers will be required to complete a PLF form before leaving for Greece.

The Georgian foreign ministry said it was mandatory to fill in the electronic application 24 hours before departure, at the following website: https://travel.gov.gr/#/, adding family members could fill out a joint form.
