Coronavirus: Georgia reports 3,436 new cases, 1,805 recoveries, 32 deaths

Georgia has reported 3,436 new Covid-19 cases, 1,805 recoveries, and 32 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for the past 14 days stands at 5.87%.

Overall 24,834 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.

A total of 40,377 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 23,696 of the 40,377 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,681 were PCR tests. 

945,609 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.

A total of 906,708 of 945,609 patients have recovered, while 14,041 have died from the virus.

The 3,436 new cases were recorded in:

  • Tbilisi - 1,676 cases 
  • Adjara - 360 cases 
  • Imereti - 407 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 190 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 205 cases 
  • Guria - 123 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 164 cases 
  • Kakheti - 185 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 67 cases 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 51 cases 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 8 cases

19,560 people are undergoing treatment at home. 

25,832 individuals are in self-isolation.

Overall, ​​1,291,383 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,152,662 people have been fully vaccinated.
