Georgia reports 3,590 new cases of coronavirus, weekly positivity rate stands at 6.26%

Georgia has reported 3,590 new cases of coronavirus, 1,955 recoveries and 67 deaths in the past 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 6.26%.

A total of 39,315 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 26,302 of the 39,315 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 13,013 were PCR tests.

1,569 of 3,590 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Tbilisi, while the remaining cases were recorded in:

  • Adjara – 366 cases
  • Imereti – 505 cases
  • Kvemo Kartli – 149 cases
  • Shida Kartli – 199 cases
  • Guria – 222 cases
  • Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 235 cases
  • Kakheti – 185 cases
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 93 cases
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 42 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 25 cases

Overall 2,520,230 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far,  while 1,152,662 have been fully vaccinated.
