Georgia reports 3,590 new cases of coronavirus, weekly positivity rate stands at 7.43%

Georgia has reported 3,590 new cases of coronavirus, 1,955 recoveries and 41 deaths in the past 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 7.43%.

A total of 41,236 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 24,593 of the 41,263 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,643 were PCR tests.

1,821 of 3,567 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Tbilisi, while the remaining cases were recorded in:

  • Adjara – 510 cases
  • Imereti – 277 cases
  • Kvemo Kartli – 175 cases
  • Shida Kartli – 220 cases
  • Guria – 141 cases
  • Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 161 cases
  • Kakheti – 162 cases
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 61 cases
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 35 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 6 cases

A total of 4,372patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 936 individuals are at clinical hotels, while 55 are under quarantine.
