Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, who is on a visit to Israel, will hold a meeting on Monday with his Israeli counterpart Naftali Bennett, the Government Administration said.
During the visit, the head of the Georgian Government will also hold other high-level meetings.
Later today Garibashvili will lay a wreath at the Holocaust Memorial. He will also be hosted by the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III.
Georgians are “returning to the Holy Land” after 300 years, Zaza Kandelaki, the Georgian Ambassador to Jordan, said on Saturday on the occasion of a handover of a plot of land near the Jordan River for opening a Georgian culture centre.
