The visit of the Georgian Parliamentary delegation to Ukraine will be an additional impetus and a new opportunity to further strengthen and deepen relations between the two countries, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said on Friday.
Darchiashvili said the parliamentary dimension was “always important” in developing relations.
We are dynamically developing bilateral relations with the friendly Ukraine, and I am confident that this visit will be an additional impetus, a new opportunity to further strengthen and deepen [them],” the top Georgian diplomat said.
The delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and involving representatives of both the ruling party and Parliamentary opposition, departed for its official visit to Ukraine on Friday.
