British Parliamentary delegation chairman thanks Georgian PM for Tbilisi welcome

Jonathan Djanogly, the Chairman of the British All-Party Parliamentary Friendship Group on Georgia, has expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of Georgia for the latter’s hosting of the visiting group in Tbilisi last week.

In an official letter, Djanogly noted the group’s meeting with Irakli Garibashvili had been “very informative and productive”, adding his colleagues from the delegation had visited the country for the first time and left Georgia with more knowledge about it.

Ongoing democratic reforms implemented by the Government of Georgia and hostilities in Ukraine were discussed by Garibashvili and the delegation led by Djanogly on April 5.
