The New Year Village will open today at the Orbeliani Square, Dedaena Garden, April 9 Garden, and Dry Bridge area today.
The Village will include a variety of New Year decorations, a synthetic ice rink, an open-air cinema, a giant fairy tale book and storyteller, a New Year market, food facilities, sweets festival, attractions for children, a decorated Christmas tree and Santa’s house.
Entertainment shows for children, a Santa march and concerts will be held during the day, while in the evening there will be performances by pop singers, bands and electronic music for adults.
The opening ceremony is scheduled at 20:00 in the Dedaena Garden.
The village will close with a concert on January 14.
New Year events will be held in all Georgian regions from December 24 until January 8 with Covid regulations observed, per the initiative of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
