The Emergency Management Service (ES) of Georgia has received firefighting equipment from the US Embassy’s Office of Defence Cooperation (ODC), reports the press office of the ES.

The equipment includes a personal warning and safety system, water pumps, lighting system, and hydraulic rescue tools.

The Emergency Management Service of Georgia has a long history of working with the ODC. Georgian firefighters were trained with the support of the ODC in the recent past.
