Georgia reports 3,454 new cases of COVID-19, positivity rate down to 8.06%

Georgia has reported 3,454 new cases of coronavirus, 3,334 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country has come down to 8.06% as of December 10 over the last 14 days. 

Overall 44,723 remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.

A total of 50,623 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 29,925 of the 50,623 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20,698 were PCR tests. 

882,822 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.

A total of 825,442 of 882,822 patients have recovered, while 12,631 have died from the virus.

  • Tbilisi - 1,575 cases 
  • Adjara - 148 cases 
  • Imereti - 543 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 226 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 280 cases 
  • Guria - 93 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 236 cases 
  • Kakheti - 166 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 86 cases 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 84 cases 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 17 cases

37,285 people are undergoing treatment at home. 

39,574 individuals are in self-isolation.

Overall, 1,217,674 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,033,455 people have been fully vaccinated.
