Georgia has reported 3,278 new cases of coronavirus, 3,890 recoveries and 53 deaths in the past 24 hours.
40,299 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
50,585 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 31,630 of the 50,585 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 18,955 were PCR tests.
The country has had 898,079 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
7.46 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
844,875 of the 898,079 patients have recovered, while 12,879 have died from the virus.

The new 3,278 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,444 cases
- Adjara - 189 cases
- Imereti - 472 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 175 cases
- Shida Kartli - 286 cases
- Guria - 81 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 231 cases
- Kakheti - 188 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 86 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 103 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 23 cases

5,887 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,472 of the 5,887 patients are in critical condition. 323 of the 1,472 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
33,268 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.
36,404 individuals are in self isolation.
1,240,965 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which 1,058,106 have been completely vaccinated.
Georgia has reported 3,988 new cases of coronavirus, 3,722 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country has come down to 7.64% as of December 14 over the last 14 days.
Georgian health officials have said that it is 'necessary' to administer Covid-19 vaccine booster shots in order to prevent the spread of the new Omicron variant in the country.
Georgia has reported 3,454 new cases of coronavirus, 3,334 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country has come down to 8.06% as of December 10 over the last 14 days. Overall 44,723 remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.
Foreigners travelling in Georgia who are not registered in the COVID ‘green’ apps offered by the Georgian government will be able to have access to various facilities if they present proof they have been granted ‘green status’ by their own country. The ‘proof’ includes a QR code or a document issued by an official agency (of the country where a traveller is from) that an individual is completely vaccinated or a negative PCR test certificate (conducted within the last 72 hours).
The Deputy Head of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Paata Imnadze said the Omicron Covid variant may start circulating in Georgia in about a month.
Georgia has reported 3,123 new cases of coronavirus, 4,215 recoveries and 39 deaths in the last 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 6.86%.
